Heritage High School biology students have been working since September on their science fair projects, and they proudly displayed them during their science fair week. Prior to judging, students from other biology classes were able to take a tour of the science fair projects.
At the end of the week, several judges, made up of school and division administrators, toured the classroom while students provided detailed explanations of their projects. Students talked about their hypotheses, what worked, what didn’t, and what they learned from the experience.
Congratulations to the winning students:
First Place - Abigail Poindexter (Shining Light on Emergencies)
Second Place - Da'Shea Taylor (Bacteria Meats Us)
Third Place - Marabeth Hammersmith (Battling Bacteria)
Other students that participated included Madison Foster, Sienna Barnett, Malik Harvey, Kevin Moss, Colin Brooker, Tmerik Cobbs, and Megan Acheampong.
