Dearington Elementary School for Innovation won the latest Sumdog Valley Region Math Contest that ran from May 30 through June 5.
DESI finished with a score of 537, which was the average number of correct answers out of the students in the school. At least 15 students from each school must have played in order to get an average score. Also, DESI students were the top four individual high scorers.
Sandusky Elementary was second with a score of 358 and Linkhorne Elementary was 5th with a score of 105.
Schools from around the region competed in the contest.
