Bus Drivers Appreciation

Lynchburg City Schools would like to thank the 130 bus drivers who play a very important role for the youth in our community.

Every single school day from the end of August until the beginning of June, there are 6,590 Lynchburg City School students waiting at a bus stop. And each day, one of the 130 LCS bus drivers is there to pick them up and take them to school. Without bus drivers, these students wouldn’t be able to get the quality education that Lynchburg City Schools provides them.
