Three Randolph College seniors recently presented Lynchburg City Schools with a donation check from money that was raised from their first Acappellooza event in April.
Megan Wheatley, Ja’el Daniely and Janie Campbell coordinated this event as a benefit to raise money for the LCS music and arts programs. The professional Boston-based a cappella group called Ball in the House performed at this event in addition to several college groups, including Songshine, Voices, and Touch of Harmony, all from Randolph College, and Sweetones, from Sweet Briar College.
College students made donations to attend the event, and the total came to $266.17, all for the benefit of LCS students.
